Our first event : Care package for the homeless (11/2/2020-6/20/21)

Our first official event for helping hands began on November of 2020, and with the help of our kind donors, we were able to complete our first mission on June of 2021.

After establishing our website and our donations page, we were able to raise funds and materials to help us create care packages that would help our local homeless community.

Our care packages consisted of a gift card, a bottle of hand sanitizer, a pack of wipes, and a mask to help our homeless neighbors safe.

We wanted to offer a special thanks to Luis and the folks at Jovenes Inc. who helped us donate and distribute the care packages that we made. We were able to get our packages to those that need it with your help. Thank you!

Overall, our first project took about 7 months and we were able to create about 50 care packages that we were able to distribute to our local homeless population. This would not have been possible with the help of our donors and the kind folks at jovenes Inc.
